Julian Green is a Chicago-based DJ whose mixes most often draw tracks from the general electronic dance music genre. Their mixes also periodically incorporate tracks from the genres of pop, hip hop/rap, r&b, afrobeats and afrodance, disco and funk, and rock. Julian's primary sources of inspiration are Black, queer DJs of all ages and experience levels who are from and/or based in Chicago. They regularly travel to venues around the city to see DJs from this group and are always mesmerized by the spiritual connection to music that these DJs display. Through their own mixes, Julian aims to enchant their listeners, steadily guide their emotions, and propel them to move their bodies dynamically.
